The aim of the current study was to investigate the effect of different levels of binder toxin on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, health index, rumination behavior, blood and skeletal parameters in calves, from 18 Simmental male calves with an average age of one month and weight of 45±2.5 kg. It was used in the form of a completely randomized design with three treatments and six repetitions for 45 days. The experimental treatments are: 1- control treatment , 2- 5 grams of Spud, 3- 5 grams of Spud Plus per head of calf per day. The results showed that the addition of different levels of toxin binder had no significant effect on the functional traits such as weight at the end of the period, daily weight gain and feed conversion ratio, but it had a significant effect on the amount of daily dry matter consumption and the amount of total dry matter consumption (diet & milk) (P<0.05). Experimental treatments had no significant effect on dry matter digestibility, stool consistency, glucose concentration, cholesterol, triglyceride, blood urea nitrogen and food consumption behavior (P≥0.05). According to the results of this research, Binder toxin did not have a negative effect on the performance, skeletal growth indices and health of calves, but it increased and improved feed consumption, so it is recommended to use Spud Plus Binder toxin at the level of 5 grams per should be used daily in the ration of calves.
