Aims and scope

Iranian Journal of Animal Science (IJAS) is an open access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that encompasses a wide range of research areas of animal science including genetics, biotechnology, physiology (reproduction, growth, milk production) nutrition, feedstuffs, sanitary, management products and also in the fields of honey bee, silk worm and companion animals. The aims and scope of IJAS will include:

• Publication of original, novel and the most up-to-date research articles in order to improve and advance knowledge in different areas of animal science, while observing all criteria of international publishing.
• Publication of research achievements in different areas of animal and poultry production. 
• Providing the exchange scientific ideas and information between researchers, academics and scientists and encourage them to cooperate in this path
• Providing the exchange of ideas and information between research and academic centers of the country and promoting scientific findings in different areas of animal sciences.
• The contribution to the advancement of research-based knowledge of animal and poultry sciences
• Promotion of productivity/efficiency of both inputs and production factors in animal production section.
