Twenty 40-week old roosters were randomly divided into four groups, individually housed and fed different levels of capsulated Letrozole including 0 (L0), 0.5 (L0.5), 1 (L1) or 1.5 (L1.5) mg/bird/day for 12 consecutive weeks. Blood sampling was done on 1th, 3th, 5th, 7th and 9th weeks of trail. Testicular histology was assessed on samples from last week (12th) of experiment. According to the results, plasma LH and FSH levels, seminiferous tubule diameter and epithelium thickness as well as Leydig cell numbers were significantly increased in Letrozole treated groups compered to control group. The highest concentration of FSH and LH were recorded for L1 (10.39 ±0.11 and 2.93±0.08) and L1.5 (9.5±0.2 and 3.17±0.08) groups, respectively. Both L0.5 and L1 groups had significantly higher spermatogonial numbers than control group. However, blood vessel numbers were not significantly affected. In conclusion, orally feeding Letrozole (1 and 1.5 mg) could improve gonadotropin concentration and testicular histology parameters of male broiler breeders at 40 weeks of age. Further studied are needed to confirm these results and extend them to final fertility.}, keywords = {Gonadotropin,letrozole,Rooster,spermatogonium,testis histology}, title_fa = {تأثیر لتروزل خوراکی بر غلظت گونادوتروپین های پلاسما و برخی فراسنجه های بافت شناسی بیضه در خروس مادر گوشتی در 40 هفتگی}, abstract_fa = {در این پژوهش تأثیر لتروزل خوراکی بر غلظت LH و FSH پلاسما و برخی فراسنجههای بافتشناسی بیضۀ خروسهای گلۀ مادر سویۀ راس 308 بررسی شد. بیست قطعه خروس با سن 40 هفته به‌صورت تصادفی به چهار گروه یکسان تقسیم و در جایگاه (پن)های انفرادی توزیع شدند. تیمارهای آزمایشی شامل دزهای مختلف لتروزل (0 (L0)، 5/0 (L0.5)، 1 (L1) و 5/1 (L1.5) میلیگرم به ازای هر پرنده در روز) بوده که به مدت 12 هفته به پرندگان خورانده شد. خونگیری از پرندگان در هفتههای اول، سوم، پنجم، هفتم و نهم و نمونهبرداری از بافت بیضه در انتهای آزمایش (هفتۀ دوازدهم) انجام شد. بنا بر نتایج، میزان FSH و LH پلاسمای خون، قطر و ضخامت بافت پوششی (اپیتلیوم) لولۀ اسپرمساز و شمار یاختههای لایدیگ در گروههای تغذیه‌شده با لتروزل نسبت به شاهد به‌طور معنیداری افزایش یافت و در بین گروههای آزمایشی نیز میزان FSH و LH به ترتیب در گروههای L1 (11/0±39/10 و 08/0±93/2) و L1.5 (2/0±5/9 و 08/0±17/3) بالاترین بود. شمار یاختههای اسپرماتوگونی در دو گروه L0.5 و L1 نسبت به شاهد به‌صورت معنیداری بهبود یافت، اما شمار رگهای خونی تغییر معنیداری نداشت. به‌طور خلاصه، تجویز خوراکی لتروزل (1 و 5/1 میلیگرم) توانست غلظت گونادوتروپینها و برخی فراسنجههای بافت‌شناسی بیضۀ خروسهای مادر گوشتی را بهبود دهد، اما برای تأیید این نتایج و تعمیم آن‌ها به باروری نهایی خروسها به بررسی‌های بیشتری نیاز است.}, keywords_fa = {Gonadotropin,letrozole,Rooster,spermatogonium,testis histology}, url = {https://ijas.ut.ac.ir/article_63031.html}, eprint = {https://ijas.ut.ac.ir/article_63031_ba9e6266c72f96733d87c29470859ad6.pdf} }
